The third National Project Steering Committee (NPSC) Meeting of the project was held on 10 September 2021. The purpose of the meeting was too present the action taken report for the previous NPSC meeting and to present project progress and Mid Term Review report.
The meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Dr. T. Mohapatra, Secretary, DARE & DG, ICAR.
Dr Jai Rana, Country Representative, Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT and National Project Coordinator, welcomed the Chair and other invitees and presented the ‘Action Taken Report’.
The Mid Term review report was presented by Dr H S Gupta, Consultant, Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT. He shared the impact performance, major findings and recommendations. This was followed by review and discussion by the NPSC members wherein possible solutions to the identified project implementation challenges were agreed to .
The meeting concluded with final remarks by the Chairperson, Dr. T. Mohapatra and vote of thanks by Ms Sonal Dsouza, Senior Officer, Project Management, Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT.
