On June 26, an online Training Session on ClimMob Version 3 was organised under UN Environment implemented GEF project ‘Mainstreaming agricultural biodiversity conservation and utilization in agricultural sector to ensure ecosystem services and reduce vulnerability’ being implemented in India. The day long training session was conducted by Jacob van Etten, Digital Inclusion Director, Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT. The virtual training session was attended by 35 participants representing the different project partners.
The purpose of the training session was to apprise the project partners of the new features of ClimMob Software Version 3 as the software is already being used by the project partners to conduct field trails based on Tricot Methodology. The hands-on training helped the participants to work on ODK Collect and familiarise themselves with the new version of ClimMob.
